  6. Euterpe is a sequencer for use by bands and home studio musicians. Focus
  7. has been put on composition and Midi interfacing. Now Euterpe integrates
  8. playing of sounds from HD, real-time effects processor and Protracker
  9. file import.

  54. Please note that this software is still under development :
  55. some new features might appear later, some described here are not yet
  56. completed and a few other might be removed.

  58. Actually (V1.12) the Midi part is limited for filters and
  59. the audio part is in development for the possibility of recording.

  61. Euterpe is shareware, you will find all the necessary informations in the .guide
  62. file.

  65. Since the previously uploaded version :

  67. Expand Track function now set the pattern output channel on the new track if
  68. the original track was in Omni mode (useful for Midifiles type 0).
  69. Drum and Midi instruments were using the global Midi output instead of
  70. their own output.
  71. Midifiles import was not handling correctly some MetaEvents and was
  72. not handling some Midi datas on the first track of Midifiles type 1.
  73. Samples default note is now C3 instead of C2 for trackers compatibility.
  74. Tempo gadget is now ranging from 20 to 400 bpm (max theoretical limit is
  75. 72000/resolution bpm).
  76. Tempo changes are no more moved to the beginning of their measure.
  77. Protracker/NoiseTracker files import.
  78. Support for Pitchbend, KeyPressure, ChannelPressure and ControlChange 10 (Pan)
  79. for audio instruments.
  80. Effects support for patterns, tracks and song.
  81. Metronome Instrument was not functionning correctly if tempo was not 120bpm.
  82. Wave forms of a length greater than 65536 samples per channel are now loaded
  83. from disk.
  84. Stereo samples are now supported.
  85. XApp instrument has been removed.
  86. Text documentation for those not having AmigaGuide V40.
  87. audio.device support removed.
  88. The ARexx command LOAD has been replaced by LOAD SONG|PATTERN|TRACK|INSTRUMENT|SOUND
  89. (Only LOAD SOUND and LOAD SONG are actually working).
  90. Samples file format has been modified.
  91. Euterpe now uses the asyncio.library which is required for functionning.
